Sounds are vibrations that can travel through different materials. The pitch of a sound is how high or low the sound is. The loudness of a sound is how loud or soft it is.

Forms of Energy Energy forms are either potential or kinetic. Potential energy comes in forms that are stored including — chemical, gravitational, mechanical, and nuclear. Kinetic energy forms are doing work — like electrical, heat, light, motion, and sound.
